Mission is a big, kind and handsome guy that just wants to please. He was started in the reining pen and was shown locally in the ranch horse classes including ranch trail, ranch riding, and some boxing by an older lady. Mission has a smooth jog, nice extended trot, and a comfortable lope on a loose rein. He has an easy lead change, good spins, and fluent side passes. He has been over all kinds of trail obstacles including poles, bridges, jumps, dragging logs, and tarps. Mission is a very safe gelding for the entire family. He is always gentle, quiet and easy to handle on his back and on the ground. He has a great neck rein and guides effortlessly. We have used Mission all over our TX ranch and also in AZ. He willingly goes right where you send him without hesitation. He’s accustomed to running rivers, lakes, thick brush, prickly cactus, and mountainous terrain. Mission is a great beginner type horse or would suit someone wanting to build some confidence. He’s got more whoa than go and would just assume go slow, but has plenty of get up and go if asked. He’s great around cattle, dogs, pigs, buffalo and camels. Mission has a sweet and loving disposition. He will meet you at the gate and follow you around eagerly awaiting attention. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and at 6 years old is a gentle old soul. Mission is sired by Texas A&M University’s stallion, Shadownics, earner of $30,367 NRHA, AQHA ROM and World Show Qualifier. Offered on June 4th at the Bots Sots Remount in Sheridan, Wyoming. Phone & internet bids are welcome. www.BotsSotsRemount.com or call sale owner, Ike Sankey (406) 671-7238.
