True BLUE roan and as handy as a leatherman! Alvin is a deluxe ranch horse, trail horse, rope horse, very trained and has a fancy handle! He’s been there and done that! As cowboy/cowgirl looking as they come and always safe and gentle! Alvin has been used for break away roping and heeling in the arena and has been used all over the ranch to doctor, gather, and sort cattle. He’s been all over big country and has seen the sights. He goes right where you point him without hesitation and is your number one partner! Alvin has seen the sights from the Colorado mountains, Arizona deserts, to downtown Fort Worth, Texas in the nightlife of Stockyards. Nothing bothers this level headed, confident individual. He’s the kind that will entertain the entire family. Handy and fancy enough for the top ranch boss and kind and honest for the kiddos. Alvin has a good ground covering walk, smooth jog and comfortable slow lope on a loose rein. He has a great one handed neck rein and easily guides where you send him. He willingly crosses creeks and rivers, is very sure footed in the rocky mountainous terrain, and easily navigates through thick brush, deep mud, prickly cactus, and steep trenches. He’s accustomed to busy traffic, bicycles, motorcycles, and city lights. Wild dogs, blowing tarps, loud gunfire and heavy machinery don’t rattle his cage either. Alvin is a sweet boy that wants to please and get along. He doesn’t want to be wrong. This gorgeous gelding rides very nice, has excellent ground manners and is ready to do whatever you ask of him whether it be leisurely cruising down the trail or being the top ranch horse, Alvin will be your go to guy. Alvin is offered draw #12 at the Southern Belle Classic in Aiken, SC on March 25th. Remote bidding and online bidding available through CCI.com and for sale info contact Meredith 803-605-9691 or visit the website southernbelleclassic.com
