 14.3 hands

Let’s get this party started with Sundown! Such an entertaining and fun vibe this gelding brings to the table! Checking all the boxes in every way! Sundown is family safe and kiddo friendly! Thoroughly tested, tried, and proven with youth in the saddle in the show ring, down the trails and everywhere in between. A true saint to own, ride and handle all the way around. He will turn heads with his four matching white socks, big blazed face, Snow White mane and tail, and one blue eye which I think is lucky. This fancy boy will ride English, Western, and bareback very calm, cool and collected and will ride just as good with a string around his neck. Sundown has earned $1,555 in NRHA reining, NSBA money earner, 22 AQHA points in Reining and Ranch Riding events, and is a Youth AQHYA World Show Finalist with a kiddo in the saddle. He is easy, solid, and consistent and would be an excellent partner for another kid, beginner, or amateur to learn on and grow with in the Reining, Ranch Riding, Trail, and Versatility and talented enough that you won’t outgrow him. He has plenty of ability, buttons and tools to take you to whatever level you want, yet very understanding of mistakes and does not ever get upset. He is very tolerant and a great confidence builder. He’s never anxious or worried about anything in or out of the arena. Sundown has super flashy way of going around. He is naturally low headed and a really pretty mover. He has smooth, comfortable gaits and spot on transitions. He is capable and has plussed all maneuvers in the show pen with stylish spins, an automatic lead change, beautiful circles, and you can run and stop him blindfolded. He is smooth as glass and will go as slow or fast as you ask. Sundown has zero spook and is more inquisitive of things that should scare him. He’s a curious and brave horse and loves to see everything. From day one he has taken all our tactics and training so easy. From the blowing tarps, loud gunfire, crazy dogs, heavy machinery and everything else, he never batted an ear and just liked all the attention. A bombproof trail partner that enjoys cruising down the road, through the trails, or in the mountains. He is super confident alone or enjoys a group and will lead or follow. He doesn’t flinch an ear at heavy traffic, bicycles, or motorcycles. He great in rocky terrain knowing right where his feet are and easily navigates his way through the prickly cactus. He ground ties where you drop a rein and will side pass to any gate. Sundown knows lots of fun tricks and is so easy to teach things to. Just pet him once for doing something correct and he’s got it mastered. He’s such a people pleaser and has been so much fun to have around. He’s a barn favorite because of his charming and loving disposition. He wants to be your best buddy and will make you laugh daily with his clown antics, yet always a gentleman and never oversteps his boundaries. He’s one of the happiest horses we have had. His ears are always forward and he will meet you at pasture gate and follow you around like a puppy dog. Standing 14.3 hands with a lot of bone and structure we think he’s the perfect size for any rider. If you want a seasoned, solid show horse, the best trail riding partner or just a nice horse to ride to the mailbox in style check out this phenomenal gelding. He will not disappoint.
