You will only need a one horse trailer with this exceptionally versatile, drop dead gorgeous,very safe and extremely kind, all around gelding we call Mick! He reins, cuts, ropes, trial rides, and is a deluxe ranch horse! Whether you want to show, pleasure ride, cowboy, or just own a super cool horse this gelding will check the boxes. Mick's golden yellow body has dapples the size of pancakes and is all chromed out with four matching white legs, a perfect blazed face and baby blue eyes outlined in black. Standing a solid 15.1 hands and built to last a lifetime he is conformationally balanced and correct. Mick is a happy horse, ears are forward, and aims to please. He never really has a bad day and wants to get along. He’s very respectful of his people and has impeccable ground manners. He will ground tie where you drop a rein, lower his head for the kids to love on him, and stand like a soldier to groom, tack, and bathe. Mick is accomplished in the show pen earning AQHA points. He performs a solid reining pattern with pretty spins, easy lead changes, and a smooth, deep stop. He is more of a push style horse that isn’t anxious or anticipating. He is a very pretty mover with a appealing long trot, fluid transitions, and great speed control. He’s smooth and comfortable to sit with a pitter patter jog and a sweet, easy short lope on a draped rein. He would excel in ranch riding, ranch trail, cow horse, and versatility events. Mick is very cowy and reads a cow nicely. He’s fun to cut on out of the herd, boxing one on the short wall, and can turn one down the fence. He’s a great partner on the ranch in the sorting pen and has the try and grit to get the job done. He doesn’t have any quit and has a heart the size of TX. Mick is a gentle soul with a calm disposition. He will take care of his rider and give you the confidence of having a solid, sane, and trustworthy mount underneath you. You can leave him off for months at a time and confidently catch him, saddle him, and mount up with no silly business to him. Mick is easy to ride and navigate. He has a solid one handed neck rein and will go right where you point him. Down the the busy road, through the narrow trials, or over the mountainous terrain, this steady eddy has your back. He’s confident and brave alone or will follow or lead in a group. Mick has been roped on out in the pasture and has been started on both ends in the arena. He’s good in the box and gives you a nice easy shot. You can rope as many as you want and he’s the same each trip. He strong enough to hold and drag anything you are cowboy enough to rope. He’s a valuable hand out on the ranch and can do any task you throw his way. Mick will side pass to all the gates, go over the logs, bridges, and into water, mud, and brush. He’s accustomed to crazy dogs, cattle, buffalo, pigs, camels, deer, havalina, and other wildlife. Blowing tarps, heavy traffic, gunfire, and machinery do not bother him one bit. He’s been exposed to it all and is not spooky or watchy. Mick is sired by NRHA million dollar sire and earner of $220k, Big Chex To Cash, who he resembles in many ways. He has the pedigree, ability, and mind to go any direction your horse riding desires may be. He’s a fun and enjoyable gelding to own and ride and a one stop shop for the most meticulous horse buyer.
