This beautiful, kind eyed gelding is built like a Mack truck with shape for days! Moose’s bone structure and size ensure his durability and longevity. This is the ultimate ranch horse and trustworthy partner to cruise down the trail! He is the definition of timeless. The way he looks never goes out of style. At 12 yrs old this handsome guy has been around the block and seen the sights. Originally Moose came from up north where he was exposed to big country and was a solid ranch horse that could easily complete any task asked of him. He’s gathered, sorted, and branded lots of cattle. He has a nice ground covering walk and big extended trot that can get you places. He has been used to pony colts and gather big herds of horses as well. He always keeps him calm, cool demeanor and is team player to get the job done. Moose is strong enough to pull a barn down, yet very well trained with a soft, supple face, correct spins and side passes, and good lead departures. He has a very comfortable jog and smooth, collected canter. He easily one handed neck reins whenever you point him and would go through fire if you asked. He’s not spooky or “looky” at anything. Moose has been hauled to jackpots in team roping on the head side. He has plenty of speed and good timing. He hauls easy, will stand tied all day, and new places do not bother him. Moose is great out on the trails and to ride into town. He’s is very sure footed and can go right through rocky, mountainous terrain. He loves the lake and will go right into any body of water. Moose has impeccable ground manners and always very polite and gentle to handle. If you don’t have time to ride, no problem, he stays gentle and trained. He’s good with other horses and easy to catch. He is accustomed to buffalo, dogs, cattle, camels, pigs, and wildlife. He doesn’t bat an eye at heavy machinery, gunfire, tarps, and traffic. Moose is utd on vaccines, worming, shoeing and has a current veterinary exam completed. Moose is offered exclusively on Horsebid.com. Auction ending Monday, June 2nd
